Description:
The primary objective of the GG&D Motor Vehicle Services scholarship program is to provide support and mentorship to cultivate the future generation of leaders who will contribute to the advancement and prosperity of Arizona.
Annually, we offer scholarships to economically disadvantaged students in Arizona, granting them an opportunity to pursue higher education. The scholarship amount, capped at $1,000, will be divided equally between the Fall and Spring semesters. The final awarded sum will depend on various factors, including the chosen educational institution, available funding, and the number of eligible applicants.
The scholarship is open to students who are currently enrolled in or have been accepted to an accredited college or university in Arizona.
To apply for the scholarship, applicants must submit a 500-750-word essay on the following topic:
“What inspired you to pursue a career in your chose field of study, and how do you envision using your education to make a positive impact on the Arizona/USA?”
In their essay, applicants should draw upon personal experiences, observations, and research to support their arguments. They will be evaluated based on their originality, clarity of writing, and persuasiveness.
We hope this criteria will attract motivated and talented students who are passionate about their chosen field of study and are committed to making a positive impact in their industry.
Eligibility:
The scholarship program is available to currently enrolled Arizona college students or high school seniors who have received acceptance to an in-state university or community college prior to the scholarship award date.
Additional Criteria:
- Arizona residency for tuition purposes is required.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
- Enrollment on a full-time basis, with a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.
- Complete the short enrollment form and essay requirements
